Hannah and Kyle’s Nottingham Wedding Film took place at The Pumping House. It’s an amazing venue that I cannot be a bigger fan of because everything took place on site. Having prep, ceremony and reception in the same space makes the day a lot less stressful. Additionally, the staff were great. Everything ran like a well oiled machine.
Firstly we got some prep shots, then explored the grounds to decide where our portraits would take place. Because I am a Videographer from Nottingham I knew this venue well and had lots of ideas on what to shoot.

We made the most of the stunning grounds and modern industrial architecture to capture a video that is so visually appealing and yet showcases the personal and intimate moments of the day. You can really tell how in love they are and how much fun was had by everyone involved. Have a look at the videos below.
It was important to the couple to highlight all the personalised details of the décor (especially the DIYed bits). This preference was made clear in our briefing call. Upon arrival we already had a clear plan of attack. Sometimes the start of a filming day can be a bit rocky. There are usually some kinks to work out before we start filming people, but the room design was complete on our arrival so that made the morning a lot easier. I really commend the team at The Pumping House and the expert planning of Hannah and Kyle. Everything really was a videographer’s dream come true.
